We would like to cordially invite children and young people to take part in the international art competition entitled „The Lapbook about the city I live in”.
The competition is open to schools, educational and cultural institutions.
The aim of the competition
educating students to the charm and assets of their hometown
deepening their knowledge about hometown, its traditions, culture and history
promoting talented children and teenagers
stimulating and supporting the creative attitudes of children and teenagers
promoting pro-European attitudes through a creative presentation of the places of residence as a part of the European Union

Competition regulations
1.The competition is free of charge
2.The participants may be aged between 7-17.
3.Schools and educational and cultural institutions interested in the competition may submit a maximum of 10 works.
4.The size of the work: A4 when folded
5.All texts included in the competition work should be prepared in English.
6.Technique of the work:
The work can be made in any flat art technique with glued on elements or placed in thematic tabs / pockets / compartments in the form of handmade drawings, graphics, computer graphics, photos, collages, texts, etc.
7.Materials:
cardboard, card stock (lapbook base / skeleton)
glue, adhesive tapes (regular, coloured, decorative)
scissors (regular, decorative)
paper punches (regular, decorative), staplers
colourful paper, chits, post it notes
crayons, colour pencils, markers, pencils, colour pens, paints

ATTENTION! no use of glitter. Work containing glitter will be disqualified.
8.The orthographic lapbook should contain:
short text about town / district in which the participant lives, made in any form e.g. glued or folded and hidden in any described pocket, envelope, tab, etc.
a minimum of six described tabs / pockets / compartments containing additional graphic / text elements related to the subject of the competition.
9.The competition works must be prepared independently by the competitors, not previously published and not infringing the rights of the third-party rights.
10.The works are not returnable.
The organizer has the right to publish personal data and photos of competition participants and their guardians for promotional purposes of the competition and the authors of the competition works. By submitting participation in the competition, its participants (legal guardians of students) accept the organizers right to present and publish the awarded or titled works in various fields of use without additional agreement and without a fee.
11.The best works will be awarded.
12.The start of the competition – August 16, 2021.
13.Competition entries will be accepted until November 15, 2021

14.Each work should have attached:
Attachment No.1 - certificate
Attachment No.2 - information clause and a declaration of consent to the processing of personal data with the date and handwritten signature of the parent or legal representative.
